Overkill Tattoo Gallery takes pride in providing the best quality tattoos in a clean and professional environment. Our friendly award-winning artists go above and beyond to serve each client's unique vision for their tattoo. As custom shops, we specialize in creating one of kind works of art.

Our Policies
​
Our artists take time and care in creating your tattoo for your appointment. For this reason, we do require a deposit, unless you are a walk-in. Pricing of tattoos may vary based on size and location of your tattoo. Please discuss pricing with your specific artist before your appointment. We understand that life happens and sometimes an appointment needs to be rescheduled. We require a 48-hour notice to reschedle your appointment. Failure to show up for your appointment or arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in rescheduling of your appointment and loss of your deposit. Lastly, the state of NC prohibits artists from tattooing anyone under the age of 18. Proper photo identification is required at the time of your appointment.
ARTISTS
Phil Knowles​
Phil Knowles is an award-winning artist who was born and raised in North Carolina. He has been tattooing for over a decade and enjoys tattooing anything from black and gray photorealism to bold color neotraditional pieces, and of course, custom lettering pieces. In his spare time, Phil enjoys painting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Daniel Wilson
Daniel Wilson is a new artist with a few years under his belt. He was born and raised in North Carolina. He's an eager and ambitious artist, always looking to move forward and grow with each piece. Daniel enjoys creating new art whether it's painting, drawing, or digital. More than anything, he loves the time with his daughter and family.
James Newman
James Newman is originally from Southern California and started his tattooing career in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He first picked up a tattoo machine over 10 years ago and enjoys doing black and gray work. Outside of the shop James enjoys riding his Harley, lake days, fishing, traveling, and most of all, hanging out with his family and close friends.
Kev Aceros
Kev is from the country of the best coffee in the world, Colombia. At 30 years-old and with over 5 years of experience in the art of tattooing, he joined Overkill Tattoo Gallery in the early summer of 2022. He has been learning and sharing the different techniques surrounding tattooing, languages and cultures. It is a pleasure for us to have Spanish-speaking artist, who day by day helps us to be more inclusive with our customers and manage to acquire new knowledge and share it.
